It included theory (so we could better understand hydroponic details), a direct look at the harvest, hands-on picking of ready-to-harvest plants, and wrapping salad, which let us experience the benefits of our own produce. We also got to taste the freshness of newly harvested hydroponic vegetables, and there was a quiz, which made it challenging and enjoyable. Although it was quite hot during the hydroponic garden tour due to the weather, overall, it was so much fun :)

HomeScale Hydroponic TK Khalifah Cimanggis
At Khalifah Kindergarten in Cimanggis, a semi-open greenhouse with dimensions of 11 x 3 meters has been designed as an interactive learning project for young students. This setup includes a Deep Flow Technique (DFT) ½ A Frame system with 390 planting holes and a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system with 312 planting holes, along with a seedling table. The greenhouse provides a hands-on opportunity for children to learn about hydroponic vegetable cultivation, supporting the school’s mission to offer direct, practical learning experiences
P2L Bhayangkari Polres Metro Depok
The renovation of the Sustainable Food Garden (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari) area managed by the Bhayangkari women of the Metro Depok Police Department includes hydroponic vegetable cultivation, medicinal plants (Tanaman Obat Keluarga), and self-sustaining crops like chili and eggplant.
